Get Ready To Be Wowed With “Cirque Dreams ILLUMINATION”

The all-new Cirque Dreams ILLUMINATION opens this Tuesday at the Balboa Theatre in Downtown San Diego.

In addition to breathtaking acts like “Dangle & Swerve” (a rolla bolla act balancing on several stacked cylinders topped with a plank), “Rise and Shine” (a hand-balancing act), and “All Aboard” (in which Carlsbad native David Poznanter rolls around in a Cyr wheel), this show features a special popping performance by “Mr. Fantastic” himself, Robert Muraine (pictured below).

Muraine gained national attention on season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance, represented the U.S. on NBC’s Superstar’s of Dance and starred in a national IKEA television commercial entitled What Goes Where.

Cirque Dreams ILLUMINATION is the latest show in the Cirque Dreams brand of entertainment, creators of international performance, touring and Broadway sensations Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, Cirque Dreams Holidaze, Cirque Dreams Pandemonia, Cirque Dreams Coobrila, Cirque Ingenieux and the first show of its kind at sea…Cirque Dreams & Dinner on board the Norwegian Cruise Line EPIC.

The show runs Tuesday, April 13th through Sunday, April 18th.  Tickets are $15-$72 and can be purchased by phone at (619) 570-1100 or online at www.broadwaysd.com.
